Colca Canyon is a canyon of the Colca River in southern Peru, located about 100 miles (160 kilometers) northwest of Arequipa.

It is often called the highest navigable lake in the world, with a surface elevation of 3,812 m (12,507 ft). Although this refers to navigation by large boats.
Nazca (sometimes spelled Nasca) is a city and a system of valleys on the southern coast of Peru, and the name of the region's largest existing town in the Nazca Province.
